Lori Hampton

Lori Hampton discovered the transformational power of Vinyasa Flow yoga when she attended her first yoga class in April 2002 and has been hooked ever since. She took her yoga to the next level by completing teacher training in 2004; went on to complete the 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification program in 2005; received YogaFit's Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga Certification in July 2006; and completed YogaFit Level I Teacher Training in December 2006. She has also attended workshops in Vinyasa Flow yoga with Baron Baptiste and Gregor Singleton; Ashtanga yoga with Beryl Bender Birch; Kundalini yoga with Ravi Singh & Ana Brett; and Tri-yoga with Kali Ray. Lori teaches upbeat All-levels, Power, and Beginners Baptiste Vinyasa Flow classes where the focus is on energy and the breath, building strength and flexibility, and discovering the mind/body connection. Her vinyasa flow classes are inspired by the wisdom of the many authors she’s read. “Teaching yoga has enabled me to ‘give back’ with compassion and beauty, touching lives along the way.” Lori organized and taught classes benefiting the effort to support Tsunami victims; and instructed the 2005 Gateway High School Girls Volleyball Team. Lori is an Interactive Media Designer and a 2005 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
